The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash in Berlin Township Saturday evening. The crash happened on Route 224 just east of Bedell Road around 2:30 p.m. According to the release, a 17-year-old female was driving east on Route 224 in a Chrysler van when she tried to pass a vehicle ahead of her. The Sisters of St. Basil the Great recently held a youth summer camp on the theme “My Journey with Jesus and Friends.”. The camp was attended by 40 children from different parishes and refugee children from Ukraine. Woman dead, 1 injured after crash involving Philadelphia Fire Department ladder truck
A woman is dead following a crash involving a Philadelphia Fire Department ladder truck in North Philadelphia on Saturday.It happened at the intersection of West Lehigh and West Sedgley avenues just after noon.Investigators say a vehicle cut the ladder truck off, which resulted in the crash.That vehicle then also reportedly struck an unoccupied, parked car.A 23-year-old passenger inside the car died at the hospital after the crash.The driver of the car was taken to the hospital in critical condition.There is no word yet on the victim's identity or whether charges will be filed in this case.

Troopers Say Man Tried To Kidnap 12-Year-Old In Smyrna
Delaware State Police are investigating an attempted kidnapping of a child that occurred last night in Smyrna. Officials said on Saturday evening, at approximately 8:41 p.m., troopers responded to Spruce Court in Holly Hills Estates in Smyrna for a suspicious person. When troopers arrived, they learned that an unknown white male suspect approached a 12-year-old and began to ask the child questions. While the suspect was asking questions, he grabbed the child by the arm. The child was able to get away and call for help. Troopers and detectives searched the area for the suspect but were unable to locate him. The child was not hurt during the incident.
