$7 billion federal ‘Solar for All’ program faces vendor and compliance challenges
The $7 billion Solar for All program administered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as part of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) seeks to support solar, storage and energy efficiency projects that benefit low-income and disadvantages communities. Camden, NJ, man gets 65 years in prison for brutal murder in 2019
A Camden man will likely never see the outside of a prison ever again after being sentenced for a brutal killing in 2019. On April 17th, 45-year-old Corey James Malloy was convicted of first-degree murder in connection to the death of Nathaniel Perry on September 26th, 2019. The verdict was returned after a jury trial in Camden County Superior Court.
Pennsylvania’s Historic Tax Credit Increased to $20 Million
On July 11, the Pennsylvania General Assembly passed its 2024-2025 budget. It was 11 days past the deadline, but offered some good news for historic preservationists and adaptive reuse developers. The new budget included tax code changes that raised the historic tax credit program to $20 million from its previous cap of $5 million.

Old City to release debut LP, share “Prey” video
Philadelphia-based punk hip-hop group Old City have announced that they will be releasing their debut album. It is self-titled and will be out on September 13 via Get Better Records. The album features contributions from Milo Aukerman of Descendents, The Ramonas, Messed Up, Conflict, Baz The Frenchman, and many more. The group has also released a video for their song “Prey” which features samples from Leftover Crack and Fugazi along with additional guitars by Gav King of Conflict and additional vocals by Milo Ackerman.
