Brandon Marsh's trade deadline story highlights why Phillies have the best clubhouse
Not much was known about Brandon Marsh in the early part of the 2022 season. He had been an everyday outfielder for the Los Angeles Angels since he got called up in 2021. Marsh was traded at the 2022 deadline to the Philadelphia Phillies on Aug. 2 for catching prospect Logan O'Hoppe. He immediately filled a hole the Phillies desperately needed with an impact bat and a solid glove in center field.
Wanted: Leiber Manrique Accused Killer Of Omar Gaitan
Leiber Manrique, 53, is wanted for the July 15 killing of Omar Gaitan of the 700 block of Knorr Street, authorities said in a release. Gaitan was sitting in his Honda CRV when he was shot in the face on the 500 block of West Ruscomb Street, according to investigators. The 67-year-old was found just after midnight and taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries around 1 a.m., police said.
