Watch Ewan McGregor Back in Training as Obi-Wan Kenobi

Ewan McGregor may play an elder Obi-Wan in his self-titled 2022 Disney+ series, but the Scotsman still had to get in serious shape.

That’s clear from glimpsing just a few seconds of this exclusive clip, shared with Men’s Journal to celebrate the April 30 release of Obi-Wan Kenobi: The Complete Series on 4K UHD & Blu-ray.

“It was incredible, the training we did, because it was so thorough in charting Obi-Wan’s arc” reveals McGregor. “Not only storywise, but through the fighting.”

Watch him turn back the years in this behind-the-scenes clip as he swings and spins with lightsaber in-hand. Thankfully, it's switched off. You can't be too careful.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: The Complete Series joins other hit Disney+ series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Moon Knight , and Andor, which all arrive on 4K Ultra HD steelbook and Blu-ray steelbook April 30th.
