Fallout Co-Creator Jonathan Nolan Wants to Revisit The Dark Knight

The co-writer of The Dark Knight is tempted to revisit his blockbuster 2008 Batman hit.

In an interview with SHOWSHA, Jonathan Nolan says, “Wouldn’t that be a dream…If I had the chance to go back and work on that again, absolutely."

Not content with having Fallout as the second most-watched series on Prime Video , the show’s co-creator (alongside Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner) is down to return to the movie that made his name.

Nolan worked on both The Dark Knight , and its sequel, The Dark Knight Rises . His brother, Chris Nolan, directed all three movies in the trilogy, starting with Batman Begins .

In all likelihood, however, Nolan probably won’t get the chance to continue the storyline established in those movies. Batman now exists in a new universe, as played by Robert Pattinson in The Batman . Pattinson is set to reprise his role in The Batman Part II , coming 2026.

Meanwhile, Nolan is hard at work putting together Fallout season 2, which has been confirmed. So realistically, there’s only so many hours in the day.
