Hatsune Miku x Crayon Shin-chan Collaboration Brings Cute Goodies

Hatsune Miku, Japan’s famous virtual singer, is collaborating with Shin-Chan, the infamous five-year-old. The new collaboration is the result of Curios Store’s latest initiative, offering a selection of accessories like keychains, acrylic stands, stickers, and badges adorned with Hatsune Miku and Shin-chan art.

The first batch of goods is already on sale, with a second batch starting towards the end of the month. Here are all the items that are available from the store:

Curiostore’s items are available in different variants, incorporating Shinnosuke Nohara’s friend group with other Vocaloids like Meiko, Kaito, Kagamine Ren, Rin Kagamine, and Megurine Luka. These include various combinations that see Shin-chan, Bo-chan, Masao-kun, Ai-chan, Kazama-kun, and Nene-chan with the Vocaloids. Here are all the combinations of the items:

The collaboration comes just in time for Shin-chan's next feature film - Eiga Crayon Shin-chan: Ora-tachi no Kyôryû Nikki (Crayon Shin-chan The Movie: Our Dinosaurs Diary). The film will be released on August 9, 2024, following 2023's Shin Jigen! Crayon Shin-chan The Movie Chōnōryoku Dai Kessen: Tobetobe Temakizushi. The film, the first 3D CG production in the franchise, became the franchise's highest-grossing entry in Japan, earning roughly US$15.55 million.

Hatsune Miku is keeping herself busy with other collaborations as well. The mascot was recently added to Crypt of the Necrodancer in its latest DLC. Her last collaboration was with Pokemon. She's also performing in front of thousands of people at Miku Expo 2024, touring the United States. That's a lot of power for someone who isn't real, and a collaboration with Shin-chan only adds to her popularity.
