Watch The Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc Release Date Trailer

Crunchyroll announced the Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc release date in a snazzy new trailer dripping with Ufotable’s signature style. The Hashira Training Arc season adapts chapters 128 through 136 of the Demon Slayer manga and gives it a bit more room to breathe compared to the film of the same name that launched to resounding success in February 2024.

This part of Tanjiro’s journey centers on his training with the rest of the demon slayer corps as the group readies for an epic battle against the demons that haunt their world. That means training with, and going up against, the Hashira, demon slayers of remarkable strength and mastery over certain elements, including water, serpent, and love. No, those last two aren’t elements, but we’ll just go along with it anyway.

It also means Tanjiro gets seriously ripped in the process, and his tiny little head looks comically at odds with his tiny-but-massive new body.

“The members of the Demon Slayer Corps and their highest-ranking swordsmen, the Hashira.

In preparation for the forthcoming final battle against Muzan Kibutsuji, the Hashira Training commences. While each carry faith and determination within their hearts, Tanjiro and the Hashira enter a new story.”

Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc begins airing on May 12, 2024, with new episodes showing up weekly from then on.
