Squid Game Season 2 – New Teaser Shows a Familiar Face Returning

It may have taken three years, but new details are finally emerging about this highly anticipated upcoming second season of Squid Game , the series following hundreds of players who, after receiving a mysterious invitation, participate in a series of children's games with a chance to get their hands on the prize of 45.6 billion won.

Squid Game took Netflix by storm when it first landed on the streaming service in September 2021, and the first details were teased back in May when it was revealed that this new season holds " so many twists and turns" .

Netflix has dropped a new thirty-second preview, which showcases a series of players before we stop on that all-familiar #456: the survivor and winner in season one.

Lee Jung-jae, who appeared in season one as Seong Gi-hun, is returning, but what could he possibly be after? Revenge?

The teaser closes with "The real game begins", suggesting that there might be more to his return than meets the eye.

All of that and more will be revealed when season two of Squid Game hits Netflix in December.
