Brad Pitt and George Clooney Are Being Paid This Much for Wolfs

Brad Pitt and George Clooney are reuniting for crime thriller Wolfs - and now we know how much Apple is paying them to do it.

According to a report by the NYT , both actors are getting the exact same salary, roughly $35 million. The film’s director Jon Watts, who previously helmed Spider-Man: Homecoming , gets around $15 million.

It’s a substantial amount, but less than half of what Robert Downey Jr’s getting to play Doctor Doom for Marvel, as revealed earlier this month.

“Brad and I made the deal to do that movie where we gave money back to make sure that we had a theatrical release,” Clooney told Deadline last year.

Wolfs will hit movie screens on September 20th, then heads to the company’s streaming service a week later on September 27. Sony Pictures distributes the film, splitting the marketing costs with Apple.

It’s not Apple’s only upcoming Brad Pitt film. F1 , directed by Top Gun: Maverick ’s Joseph Kosinski, stars Pitt as an F1 driver. It premiers in cinemas in July. Read our first preview of Brad Pitt in F1 .
