Deadpool and Wolverine Just Revealed Thor Surprise - and Fans are Furious

Why was Thor crying? It’s a question Marvel fans are still asking after watching Deadpool and Wolverine . With the release of a behind-the-scenes shot, however, we now know a bit more about the mysterious sequence.

As shared by Discussing Film , the image shows Thor cradling a bloodied Deadpool in his arms. Only, it doesn’t appear to actually be Thor. Instead, it looks to be a different, unknown actor, who’s face has been replaced with Hemsworth’s using CGI.

Not only that, but the armor in the final cut is CGI, too. The actor is wearing a light grey mo-cap suit. In fact, the only part of the scene that’s not CGI is Reynolds himself, who appears in full facial prosthetics and a half-destroyed Deadpool mask.

Needless to say, fans aren’t happy with the revelation. “You're telling me that wasn't Thor this whole time,” writes @foundmykey under the post. “CGI is killing cinema,” adds @neolithicobject.

“Was the whole movie CGI?? As soon as Logan's mask came on I think Hugh left the set, and I don't think that was Ryan like 95% of the movie?? The hell did I even watch??,” writes @jadenedaj.

So not only do we not get an answer to the question ‘why was Thor crying?’, but instead, more questions. Like who was actually present in this movie, and who was instead a floating face pasted onto a human stand-in?
