TRAILER: Dragon Ball DAIMA - Release Date, Where To Watch.

The first trailer for Dragon Ball DAIMA is out, and fans are loving it.

An all-new anime series written by Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama, Dragon Ball DAIMA premiers October 11 on Fuji TV. That’s a Japan-only channel, however, so what if you’re in the US?

It’s not been officially confirmed, but there are two likelihoods. The first place you can potentially watch Dragon Ball DAIMA is Crunchyroll, which has the broadest and deepest anime library of any other streamer. The second is HULU, since it previously aired another of Toriyama’s creations, Sand Land , the same day it premiered in Japan.

There are 20 episodes in total, with both the story and character design attributed to Toriyama. The beloved figure, who also acted as character designer for several popular video games including the Dragon Quest series and Chrono Trigger , died March 1, 2024. That makes Dragon Ball DAIMA is his first posthumous work.

Legendary voice actress Masako Nozawa, who’s been voicing Goku since 1986, returns to the role. The story sees Goku and his friends try and fix their lives after they’re turned into children.
