The Franchise Trailer – New Superhero Satire Series on HBO Gets First Preview

Our first look at The Franchise has arrived in the form of a 90-second trailer that previews the superhero satire series from Sam Mendes, which was ordered by HBO last summer .

Starring Aya Cash, Billy Magnussen, Himesh Patel, Jessica Hynes, Lolly Adefope, Ruaridh Mollica, Isaac Powell, Darren Goldstein, Daniel Brühl, and Richard E. Grant The Franchise brings audiences behind the scenes of the movie industry by following a fictional film crew working on creating franchise superhero movies.

Oscar-winning Mendes is executive producing alongside a prestigious team that consists of three-time Emmy-winner Jon Brown, as well as Emmy-nominees Nicolas Brown and Jim Kleverweis and the Oscar-nominated Pippa Harris and Armando Iannucci.

Other executive producers include Julie Pastor, Keith Akushie, and Marina Hyde, with Dean O'Toole joining as producer.

The first trailer shows us our cast in action amidst the frantic, unruly world of moviemaking while chaos unfolds on set. From mishaps to friction between crew members, this early preview has it all.

The Franchise will debut on HBO and Max on Sunday, October 6, at 10pm ET/PT.
