Ariana Grande Delivers Iconic Lines in New Look At Wicked

Jon M. Chu's WICKED is a matter of weeks away, and as the film gears up for its November release, Universal is teasing us with a series of exciting promos that give us a closer look at our leading stars.

The latest in this series is a thirty-second taste of Ariana Grande as Glinda the Good, the role originated by Kristin Chenoweth on Broadway but who was first seen on screen in 1939 when Billie Burke played her in Victor Fleming and King Vidor's The Wizard of Oz .

Universal's latest preview has us giddy with glee as we open on a wonderful shot of Grande as Glinda admiring her reflection – a trait familiar to fans of the musical – before we hear the twinkle of the opening bars of " Popular ".

Glinda then floats down in her signature bubble over the ever-familiar yellow brick road, bursting the pink defense with her sceptre, giggling at the magic.

We also see Glinda interacting with Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero and Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, rattling off lines in the everyday repertoire of lifelong fans of the musical.

Grande delivers the iconic lines "Are you looking for something? Or someone?" and "It's good to see me, isn't it?" like a seasoned Broadway pro, as well as popping out the "toss-toss" hair flip that we know and love.

In an interview, director Jon M. Chu said Grande went to bat to keep lines that fans love in the film, and her dedication shows in this stunning preview of Grande in action.

WICKED hits theaters on November 22.
