Dragon Ball Daima US Streaming Release Date Revealed

After a very long wait following the series’ announcement, Dragon Ball Daima finally has a real release date. As revealed by Crunchyroll, the next Dragon Ball series will be launching next month.

Crunchyroll revealed a release date of October 11, 2024 for Dragon Ball Daima, with the series premiering on Crunchyroll on the same day as the Japanese airing. We don’t know the exact time of the release, or how long the series will last for, but at least we have a firm date.

The series will be available on Crunchyroll in North America, Central America, South America, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, the Indian subcontinent, and Southeast Asia. That covers most of the world, although Europe is notably absent so far — we’ll have to wait and see if a release materializes there in the future.

Dragon Ball Daima is a new entry in the Dragon Ball anime franchise, but where it fits into the greater story is anyone’s guess at this point — it’s not expected to be canon, but you never do know with Dragon ball. The series’ story and character designs were created by the late Akira Toriyama , in what’s likely his final project before passing.

The series sees just about every character in the Dragon Ball mythos, including Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, and more turned into children thanks to a mysterious power. It will also introduce a host of new characters, some of whom look suspiciously like the Kais. What’s the connection? We’ll have to wait and see.

The designs are very cute, and the story sounds fascinating, as it’s set during Dragon Ball Super. Crunchyroll also released a trailer for the new series, which you can watch below:

It comes at a great time for the Dragon Ball series, with the next game in the series, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero set to be released on – you guessed it – October 11, 2024 .
