How To Watch the New Gladiator 2 Trailer

Less than two months to go until Ridley Scott 's highly anticipated sequel to his 2000 film Gladiator hits theaters, and Paramount are treating us to a new look at the film through a new trailer, which will be released later today.

Starring Paul Mescal , Pedro Pascal , Joseph Quinn , Fred Hechinger, Lior Raz, and Derek Jacobi, with Connie Nielsen and Denzel Washington , Gladiator II takes place years after the death of Maximus and follows Lucius (Paul Mescal) as he must enter the Colosseum following his home being conquered by the tyrannical Emperors now leading Rome with an iron fist.

The first trailer did an excellent job of teasing what's to come without giving too much away, showing us the epic landscape of the film –– and Ridley Scott says the opening to Gladiator II is "bigger than anything in Napoleon" .

Gladiator II continues the epic saga of power, intrigue, and vengeance set in Ancient Rome.
