The One Piece Card Game is only getting more popular – and unfortunately for collectors, more rare and expensive. You might think that means that the value of your collection is going up, but no, it just means newer card sets are more difficult to actually purchase at a reasonable price.

I have been digging through local retail stores since the launch of the series, and not one of those stores has stocked a single pack from OP-06 Wings of the Captain. In the end, I’ve had to turn to ebay, where I’ve been stung before. It’s rough out here right now, but if you have managed to buy some One Piece TCG cards of your own, then you should know which are the most valuable.

In this list, we’re collating the top ten most rare and expensive One Piece cards from OP-06 Wings of the Captain. We’ve decided this list based on the highest confirmed prices the English versions of the cards have sold for on CardMarket.com .

Gecko Moria (OP06-086) Alt Art, €76

    One of Moria's best poses.

    One Piece&comma Eiichiro Oda&comma Shonen Jump&comma Shueisha&comma Bandai Namco

Gecko Moria is hardly the most beloved character, but his character art in this alternate card is brilliant, which is why some people are even willing to pay money for it, believe it or not.

Perona (OP06-021) Leader Alt Art, €85

    Yes, we all love Perona.

    One Piece&comma Eiichiro Oda&comma Shonen Jump&comma Shueisha&comma Bandai Namco

A nice Green/Black Leader card, and we know why this is so coveted – everyone loves Perona. It is a fair bit more affordable now, though.

Vinsmoke Reiju (OP06-042) Leader Alt Art, €87

Reiju singlehandedly saves the Vinsmoke family.

    One Piece&comma Eiichiro Oda&comma Shonen Jump&comma Shueisha&comma Bandai Namco

Another lovely Leader alt, featuring yet another one of the fanbase’s favorite girls, Vinsmoke Reiju. Like most of the cards in this set, the price has come down since launch, but it’s still a valuable pull.

    Buggy (OP03-008) Alt Art, €92

    The world's favorite genius jester.

    One Piece&comma Eiichiro Oda&comma Shonen Jump&comma Shueisha&comma Bandai Namco

Everyone loves Buggy – you do, don’t lie – and that’s why this card is so valuable, in addition to the fantastic artwork.

Gecko Moria (OP06-080) Leader Alt Art, €112

    Another Moria???

    One Piece&comma Eiichiro Oda&comma Shonen Jump&comma Shueisha&comma Bandai Namco

Gecko Moria gets into this list twice, and that feels criminal, honestly. This Leader Alt Art card can be useful for Black decks, and the artwork is great too.

Roronoa Zoro (OP06-118) Secret Rare Alt Art, €120

A Zoro card that sold for a lot more than it should've once.

    One Piece&comma Eiichiro Oda&comma Shonen Jump&comma Shueisha&comma Bandai Namco

This is a bit of a strange one, as yes, this card has sold for €120, but that only happened once – the average price has been much closer to half that. We’ll never know why, but it really does look cool.

Charlotte Linlin (OP03-114) Alt Art, €122

One of the all-time best Linlin artworks.

    One Piece&comma Eiichiro Oda&comma Shonen Jump&comma Shueisha&comma Bandai Namco

A new alt-art card from an older series, the colors on this card are a true standout. It’s already considered to be a valuable and powerful card, but this new artwork makes it even better.

    Rebecca (OP05-091) Alt Art, €134

A lovely shot of Rebecca in the sunflower field.

    One Piece&comma Eiichiro Oda&comma Shonen Jump&comma Shueisha&comma Bandai Namco

This Rebecca card should only be used in decks by those who have a firm strategy in mind – that said, gosh, isn’t this artwork beautiful? Truly lovely.

Yamato (OP06-022) Leader Alt Art, €138

    https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=1sCe38_0t3Jms3p00
The best Leader card in the set? Probably.

    One Piece&comma Eiichiro Oda&comma Shonen Jump&comma Shueisha&comma Bandai Namco

One of everyone’s favorite One Piece characters, Yamato is the card that has sold for the second-highest price across this whole series, and still remains one of the more expensive single cards you can buy.

Roronoa Zoro (OP06-118) Manga Rare Alt Art, €1,500

    https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=4doZjA_0t3Jms3p00
I will get a Manga Rare card one day...

    One Piece&comma Eiichiro Oda&comma Shonen Jump&comma Shueisha&comma Bandai Namco

Finally, the top dog. This Manga Alt Art Roronoa Zoro card is, by far, the most expensive card in the set to purchase by itself, and while it might be a fair bit cheaper now, it’s still multiple times more expensive than any other card in the Wings of the Captain set. The Manga Rare cards are always the most sought after, and it’s no different with this series. If you pull this one, put it straight into a protective sleeve.
