Stolen Vehicle Leads To Police Chase Along I-80
A police chase on Sunday night ended with arrest of an 18 year old who allegedly stole a vehicle in Warrenville. On Sunday, July 21st at 9:33 p.m. Will County Sheriff Deputies located a stolen blue Hyundai sedan near the area of Midland and Jefferson. The vehicle was stolen in Warrenville earlier that morning by suspects that were armed with handguns.

Driver in stolen SUV trying to escape traffic stop hits four pedestrians, multiple cars
CHICAGO (CBS) — A police officer and an 8-year-old were among five people injured after a driver in a stolen car tried to get away from police in Brighton Park Monday night. Police said officers stopped a black SUV in an alley in the 2500 block of West 46th Street around 11:30 p.m. The driver reversed in the SUV into the police car. The driver continued down the alley and hit two more cars and four pedestrians, including three women and an 8-year-old girl, while trying to escape. An officer was also injured in the incident.The three women and the officer were taken to local hospitals.The 8-year-old was treated at the scene.One person has been arrested.
NWS Says At Least 27 Tornadoes In Chicago Area On July 15th
During the evening hours of July 15, a well-organized and long-lived complex of thunderstorms rolled across Iowa, Illinois and parts of Indiana. Widespread damaging winds of 60 to locally 100 mph were observed within the line, especially from eastern Iowa, northern Illinois, and central Illinois. In addition, at least 27 occurred in the NWS Chicago County Warning Area.

CHICAGO (CBS) — Storms are on the way for the Chicago area. Tuesday starts out dry with humidity and highs in the upper 80s. Storms are expected by the afternoon, closer to 4 p.m. Once this front clears by the evening, it'll turn cooler and less humid for the rest of the week. Building heat and humidity is expected for the weekend with highs in the 90s starting Sunday. This pattern holds for the start of early next week.
