Four pedestrians and a CPD squad car were hit by a stolen vehicle in the Brighton Park neighborhood Monday night, Chicago police said.Officers were conducting a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle at about 11:26 p.m. in the 2500-block of West 46th Street when police said the driver reversed and hit a squad car.ABC7 Chicago is now streaming 24/7. 27 tornadoes confirmed from the July 15th Derecho in northern Illinois
It’s been one week since a derecho swept across the Rockford and Chicago areas. In the process, producing multiple areas of straight-line wind damage and a record-breaking number of Q.L.C.S or embedded tornadoes. According to the National Weather Service, three more tornadoes were added to the tornado count, placing the daily total at 27 tornadoes.

Pedestrian killed in crash on Bishop Ford Freeway in Chicago suburb
CHICAGO (CBS) — A fatal crash shut down southbound lanes on the Bishop Ford Freeway in suburban South Holland early Monday morning. According to Illinois State Police, a pedestrian was crossing 159th Street after a previous accident when they were hit and killed by a car around 2:30 a.m.The vehicle involved in the crash stayed on the scene.
