Officers responded to a fight at the 100 block of McClure Street shortly before 4 p.m. Blood and glass were observed throughout the residence, and a strong odor of gasoline was present in the backyard.

The homeowner said Aaron Bruton, 37, threatened to burn them alive after kicking down the kitchen door, according to a police report.

Bruton then threw an old style milk bottle at another person in the residence. The person was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition.

Bruton turned himself in at the Struthers police station.

Bruton is charged with felonious assault, attempted aggravated arson and burglary and two counts of domestic violence. He is awaiting pretrial.
