Pirates farm report for July 26, 2024: Henry Davis, Alika Williams combine for 7 hits in Indy victory
INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 44-52) topped Iowa (Cubs), 7-3. SS Alika Williams (.330) was 4 for 6 with two runs scored. DH Henry Davis (.305) was 3 for 6 with two doubles and an RBI. CF Matt Gorski (.252) was 2 for 4 with an RBI. C Jason Delay (.321) was 3 for 5 with a double. RF Matt Fraizer (.275) was 1 for 5 with an RBI. LF Andres Alvarez (.273) was 2 for 5 with an RBI. 1B Seth Beer (.333) and 2B Liover Peguero (.246) also knocked in runs. Report: Duquesne to Play Against Familiar Ivy League Team
It looks like we can add another game to the Duquesne basketball 2024-25 schedule. According to national basketball insider Rocco Miller, Duquesne and Princeton are working on an agreement to play for the second-straight year. Former Pittsburgh Steelers defensive lineman Isaiah Buggs was convicted of two counts of misdemeanor animal cruelty and sentenced to a year of hard labor, ordering him to serve 60 days, according to the Associated Press. The remaining 300 days would be suspended for two years “pending the behavior of the defendant.”
