Denim will never be out of style, but the cut, color, length, and waist will always be changing with the times. One way to suss out what will be in next is by checking out the latest runways. The spring/summer 2025 collections that debuted at New York, London, Milan, and Paris Fashion Week gave us a look at what’s to come, and we’re happy to report that the world of denim is more exciting than ever.

The best thing about denim is that almost every style works for every season. You can wear straight-leg jeans with sandals in the summer and boots in the winter. You can rock shorts in the spring and add on tights for the fall. There’s no wrong time to wear a pair of jeans . The hard part, however, is navigating the different styles.

If you’ve been keeping up, you probably own a pair of barrel jeans or have some jorts in a shopping cart. Luckily for you, those silhouettes aren’t going anywhere. Brands like Diesel and Skall Studio sent models strutting down the runway in cropped designs as labels like Acne Studios and Hyke gave the balloon fad new life. We also noticed an emphasis on dark washes. Valentino and Vetements demonstrated denim sophistication with deep, moody hues.

Of course, finding denim that fits and flatters your body type and is also on trend can be a daunting task. We get it, which is why we’ve done the heavy lifting for you. But remember, fashion should be fun and never stressful—so if you fancy a pair that looks good, then who cares what anyone else thinks. We’re simply here to provide some inspiration. To see what’s most popular now, or what’s about to pop off, keep scrolling.
