Liam Payne died at the age of 31 in Buenos Aires, Argentina after an unexpected fall in his hotel room on October 16, 2024. The former One Direction member was reportedly vacationing in the South American country weeks after he saw former member Niall Horan perform.

A month before his death, Liam Payne urged his fans to donate to charity. “I’ve always felt lucky for the position I’m in, he said in a SnapChat video . “My life aspiration was to be a superhero but I can’t fly, I’m not a great mechanic, I wasn’t affected by radiation and and I’m not incredibly strong.”
