This year there were 600 people who enjoyed “Daddy Bud Day” in Pacific Park. “Daddy Bud Day” culminated with an all star basketball game, with spectators lined up several rows deep surrounding the playground court. Motorcyclist crashed in construction zone, fell 35 feet below highway
KANSAS CITY —A motorcyclist was critically injured in an accident just after 3p.m. Saturday in Kansas City. According to KCPD Captain Jake Becchina, a Kawasaki motorcycle was northbound on U.S. 169 Highway. The motorcycle was traveling too fast to maintain control on the curve just prior to the US 9 Highway exit.

Storm season ends in Salina

(westernkansasnews.com)–The Southwest Kansas Storm’s season ended in dramatic fashion as they fell to the Salina Liberty 41-35 in the first round of the Arena Football League (AFL) playoffs.
