EAST HANOVER — Another infant has died after being left in a car in New Jersey. Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll said East Hanover Police were called after a 6- month-old girl was noticed inside a vehicle parked in a parking lot on South Ridgedale Avenue at Route 10 in East Hanover around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 17. She was pronounced dead at a hospital.
N.J. man gets prison sentence in fiery, 110 mph crash that killed other driver
A man was sentenced to state prison on Friday in a fiery 2023 crash that killed another driver. Ahmadsabir Ashaq, 20, of Edison, was sentenced to five years, with an additional three years of supervised release, the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement on Tuesday. He pleaded guilty to second-degree vehicular homicide in March.
