Sewage Spills into Bay Street Ponds in Easton
EASTON, MD. - People are being asked to take caution near several waterways in Easton after a sewage spill. The Easton Utilities Commission says about 6,000 gallons of untreated wastewater overflowed into the ponds on Bay Street. FAIR HILL — As the end of July approaches, the Cecil County Fair returns for its 71st season, bringing events, rides, good eats and fun back to the county for what has become a summer staple for many. Workers were working hard to cap off weeks of preparation Thursday evening to get the Fairgrounds ready for the season, according to Don Moore, president of the Cecil County Fair Board of Directors.
