Man sustains leg injuries in Friday shooting

SUFFOLK, VA – On Friday, June 21, 2024, at approximately 10:44 p.m., Suffolk Emergency Communications Center received notification of a shooting in the 110 0 block of E Washington Street at South Lloyd Street. life threatening injuries.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with an adult male who had sustained gunshot wounds to both l egs. He was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
