Suffolk Public Schools says its phone service is temporarily interrupted due to a Spectrum Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) trunking service-related issue in our area. As a result, we are unable to send or receive phone calls. The issue is impacting the entire City of Suffolk. The City of Suffolk also announced on social media it was experiencing a phone outage this morning.

“We understand the inconvenience and challenges that a lack of phone service use can cause, and we want to assure you that we are taking immediate steps to address this issue,” the division said in an email to parents/guardians. “The school division and the City of Suffolk have submitted trouble tickets to the company. We will provide more information as it becomes available.”
