    Community Electric Cooperative announces planned outage

The outage will begin at 7:00 a.m. while the company conducts essential maintenance to enhance services. This outage will last for approximately two hours and will impact around 1200 members in Suffolk and Isle of Wight. “In order to protect our members safety and privacy, all members that will experience an outage will be receiving direct correspondence,” the message reads. “All direct notifications will come via email or phone call. We understand that this may cause inconvenience, and we apologize for any disruption. Our team is working diligently to minimize the impact and ensure a swift resolution. Please keep an eye on your email or phone for further updates or changes to the schedule. Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated as we strive to improve our systems for you.” Anyone in the service area with urgent concerns or questions should call 757-242-6181.
