    Sentara Obici to host Colorectal Cancer Awareness program

    Sentara Obici Hospital, in partnership with Hitting Cancer Below the Belt, is hosting a Colorectal Cancer Awareness Program at Obici Hospital on Friday, March 8, 2024, from noon until 2 p.m., in the Garden Level Classroom. The event is open to the public and will feature an interactive learning program, about prevention, awareness and screening for Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, with guest speaker Dr. Pramod Malik and the Hitting Cancer Below the Belt Education Team..

    According to the American Cancer Society, in the United States, colorectal cancer is the second most common cause of cancer deaths when numbers for men and women are combined.
