Suffolk, Virginia — A third suspect, Jyshan Deonte Lee of Chesapeake surrendered to police Friday. Police say Lee has been charged with eluding police, obstruction of justice, and three counts of possession of a machine gun for offensive/aggressive purposes. The booking photo of Lee is not yet available.

Earlier Friday, Suffolk Police released the names of two individuals charged in connection with the traffic stop that led to Thursday’s officer involved shooting.

Arias Nazareth Worrell, of Suffolk, was arrested and charged with eluding police, obstruction of justice, and three counts of possession of a machine gun for offensive/aggressive purposes.

Labryan Nasir Mann, of Franklin, was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, eluding police, obstruction of justice, and three counts of possession of a machine gun for offensive/aggressive purposes.

The driver of the vehicle remains hospitalized and will face charges upon release. SPD has not released the identity of the officer involved in the shooting but said the officer is currently on administrative leave while the incident is under investigation.
