Suffolk students aspiring to study forensics will have a chance to learn from some of the best at the Suffolk Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office.

Suffolk Commonwealth’s Attorney Narendra R. Pleas and her team are gearing up to help children learn about forensics and criminal law at the 3rd Suffolk Commonwealth’s Attorney’s CSI/Forensics Camp.

The four-day program will be held at the Suffolk Health and Human Services Building from Monday, June 17, through Friday, June 21 (with no Wednesday class).

The program will allow local students to learn what evidence to look for when prosecuting cases, photographic evidence, courtroom testimony, and more. Suffolk students ages 12 through 15 are eligible to participate, and the class size is limited to 40 students. Parents and guardians will have until June 5 to apply. Space is limited.

To register, parents and guardians must complete an application and waiver found on the Suffolk Commonwealth’s Attorney’s website. For more information, go to suffolkva.us/204/Commonwealths-Attorney .
