    Suffolk Police seek two in connection to homicide

    SUFFOLK, VA. — The Suffolk Police Department continues to seek the public’s assistance to locate two individuals associated with a homicide that took place on Thursday, May 9, 2024 in the 1300 block of Blythewood Lane.

    Amir Rassein Knight, age 24, of Suffolk, is now wanted in connection with this incident. Knight has been charged with Attempted Malicious Wounding (F) and Use of Firearm in Commission of a Felony (F).

    Suffolk Police are also still looking for Khalil Malik McGlone, age 27, of Suffolk. McGlone has been charged with Attempted Malicious Wounding (F) and Use of Firearm in Commission of a Felony (F) in connection with this incident.

    Multiple people are believed to have been in the area during the time of this incident. Suffolk Police is asking anyone who was at the scene to come forward with any information they have.

    On May 9, 2024, an adult male was located suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the 1300 block of Blythewood Lane. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.  The victim was identified as Darrell Lamont Knight Jr.; age 26 of Suffolk.

    The investigation remains ongoing at this time, and there is no further information available for release.
