St. Jude giving away 25th Dream Home in Hampton Roads

SUFFOLK, Va. - Thursday night marks a milestone for a campaign that's raised millions of dollars in the fight against childhood cancer.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in partnership with WTKR News 3, will giveaway its 25th St. Jude Dream Home in Hampton Roads.

Each year, the hospital sells thousands of $100 raffle tickets before drawing the winner. All of the money goes to help cancer research and treatment at St. Jude, ensuring that the families checked in there never receive a bill.

This year's home is 3,100 square feet of luxury space in Suffolk's Bennett's Pasture neighborhood. It's valued at more than $715,000 with five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms.
