    2 charged in connection to deadly Suffolk shooting, including victim's brother

    SUFFOLK, Va. — A man has been arrested and charged in connection to a deadly shooting that happened in May , according to Suffolk police.

    On Wednesday, Suffolk police say they arrested Khalil McGlone, a 27-year-old from Suffolk, in connection to the shooting death of Darrell Knight Jr., a 26-year-old from Suffolk.

    Knight Jr.'s brother—24-year-old Amir Rassein Knight, also from Suffolk—was also identified as a suspect in the case, police say. He had previously turned himself in on June 4, police added.

    The charges stem from a shooting on the night of May 9 in the 1300 block of Blythewood Lane. Police say Knight Jr. was shot multiple times and did not survive.

    A couple of weeks after the shooting, police identified McGlone and Knight as suspects.

    McGlone and Knight are both facing two felony charges, police say: attempted malicious wounding and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

    Police haven't shared what led to the violence. We'll update this article once we learn more.
