WILD ART-Lincoln County Pride Festival
Lincoln County hosted its fourth Pride Festival Saturday, July 13, at the Kootenai Heritage Memorial Center in Libby. The events included a dog fashion show, live music, dancing, speeches, drag performances, raffles and prizes, aerial performances by members of Kalispell-based Levitation Nation Aerial Studio and a showing of the documentary, "Stonewall Uprising." Upcoming Hazmat Training Exercise at the University of Montana Western
Dates: Setup on Wednesday, July 17, with the exercise occurring on Thursday, July 18, 2024. Location: The area between the Bulldog Athletic and Recreation Center (BARC) and the new stadium. The campus Heating Plant will also be utilized during this exercise. Foot traffic is to be expected by military personnel between the Heating Plant and the BARC area throughout the exercise.
Montana Athletics expands NIL opportunities for student athletes through licensing agreement
MISSOULA, Mont. – University of Montana Athletics and The Brandr Group (TBG) have established a group licensing agreement for the university's student-athletes covering all 15 Grizzly varsity sports. This partnership will enable these student-athletes to profit off their Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) through a number of opportunities that will be co-branded with Montana's official trademarks and logos.

The Kalispell City Council is set to vote July 16th on whether to revoke a local homeless shelter’s permit. Residents have complained that the Flathead Warming Center has increased crime and loitering in the adjacent neighborhood.
