Lycan Farm Takes Another Step Forward Following Tornado Damage
(Undated) – The Justin Lycan Farm took another step toward recovery from the March 2023 tornado yesterday. According to United Way of Crawford County Community Resource Representative, Barb Shimer, volunteers from the community as well as players and coaches from the LTC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Team and the LTC Baseball Team helped with clean up during yesterday’s “Community Day of Caring Event.” Shimer says they also received help and donations from Gina Mills who provided ice water, Mike Shimer, Ace Hardware, and Niehaus who provided gloves and safety glasses. She also extended a big thanks to Lincoln Trail College for providing lunch. The “Community Day of Caring” was organized by the United Way of Crawford County.
