One of the largest apartment communities in North Charleston is under new ownership. Colliers has purchased Livano North Charleston, according to a news release. The 332-unit community holds one, two and three-bedroom garden-style apartments on 16 acres of property, accoring to the release. The property also featuresa clubhouse, resort-style pool, dog park, private garages, outdoor entertainment area, fitness center and a business center with private offices and conference rooms.

An all night diner that serves breakfast all day is the kind of restaurant I’m talking about. I went to a place called the Goodie House in Charleston, South Carolina with my father. The Goodie House was on Calhoun Street near the Francis Marion Hotel. This would have been in the early sixties. I was probably ten years old. We were going to eat breakfast and then drive back to Greeleyville. I don’t remember much about the trip except the guy cooking at the Goodie House.

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCSC) - Two people have been displaced after a house fire in Mount Pleasant, according to the Mount Pleasant Fire Department.
