Cumby Collegiate ISD Hall of Honor, building dedication

Mary Jo Bonner (not pictured) was inducted in the Cumby Collegiate Hall of Fame Friday. Her family accepted the award on her behalf, which was presented by Cumby Collegiate ISD School Board President Jason Hudson.

This plaque was unveiled Friday, naming the new agricultural science building at Cumby Collegiate High School after former teacher Bill Jenkins, who worked at Cumby from 1984-1999. The plaque attests that he “cared about every student and had an immeasurable impact on lives throughout the school and community.”
