For the first time in many years, Sulphur Springs High School will have a Baccalaureate this month, giving the community an opportunity to come together to bless and inspire the graduating seniors of the class of 2024.

The service, sponsored by Hopkins County Christian Alliance will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 16, in the SSHS Auditorium. Graduating seniors need to arrive no later than 6:45 p.m. in their caps and gowns, and line up in the foyer outside the auditorium.

The service will include music performed by SSHS seniors, scripture reading and singing. Members of Hopkins County Christian Alliance will provide introductions, and prayer. The keynote speaker or the SSHS beaccalaureate will be Jason Brown, CEO and president of Marketplace Chaplains since 2022.

Brown is an accomplished athlete; he also has 20 years of sales and marketing experience. He has a degree in marketing from the Rawls School of Business.
