Sulphur Springs FFA student named among 10 Ford Leadership Scholars

SULPHUR SPRINGS, Texas ( KETK ) – One student from Sulphur Springs FFA has been selected as a Ford Leadership Scholar.

According to a release, Jordan VanWinkle, a member of Sulphur Springs FFA, has been selected among only 10 statewide as Texas Ford Leadership Scholars.

According to the Texas FFA State Convention, The Ford Leadership Scholars program “is a community service driven, professional development program.” They said that the program is based in six leadership tenants: vision, action, awareness, relationships, character and continuous improvement.

“Congratulations Jordan, we can’t want to see the continued impact you will make on Hopkins County when you initiate your service learning project.”
