Cumby Collegiate and Sulphur Springs Independent School Districts have announced dates for their Back to School activities.

Cumby Collegiate ISD

On Saturday, Aug. 3, beginning at 9 a.m., Cumby Collegiate ISD will host its annual Back to School Bash and Meet the Teacher event, which will include a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house for the new high school building.

A parent meeting will take place in the new gym at 9:45 a.m.

Free hot dogs will be served.

The event is for students of all grades, from pre-kindergarten through 12th graede.

Sulphur Springs ISD

Sulphur Springs ISD’s annual Meet the Wildcats event is set for Thursday, Aug. 15 at 7 p.m. at Gerald Prim Stadium.

Meet the Teacher events for Sulphur Springs ISD will be as follows:

„ Douglass — Monday, Aug. 12 from 4 to 6 p.m.;

„ Sulphur Springs Middle School — Monday, Aug.

12 from 5 to 7 p.m.

„ Sulphur Springs Elementary — Tuesday, Aug.

13 from 5 to 7 p.m.

„ Austin Academic Center — Thursday, Aug. 15 from 5 to 6 p.m.

„ Bowie Primary — Thursday, Aug. 15 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.; Bush Primary — Thursday, Aug. 15 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

„ Rowena Johnson — Thursday, Aug. 15 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

„ Sulphur Springs High School — Thursday, Aug. 15 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

„ Travis Primary — Thursday, Aug. 15 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
