On the eighth of June in two thousand and twenty-four, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny and Connie Anderson of Latta announce the marriage of their daughter, Genesis Anderson of Latta, to Dylan Rogers of Lake View, the son of Charles (Bubba) and Marsha Rogers. The wedding took place at The Southern Dream Wedding Venue in Gibson, North Carolina with Harold Cooke officiating. The wedding was sweet and spiritual in every way. It was the couple’s desire to honor their Savior, Jesus Christ, in every aspect that day and remind witnesses in attendance that “we love, because He first loved us.”

Conn’s Is Closing More Than 70 Stores In 13 States Including Georgia And South Carolina
Conn’s home goods and furniture retailer has announced it’s closing more than 70 stores across the country, including some stores in Georgia and South Carolina. The good news is, the Conn’s store on Bobby Jones Expressway in Augusta is not on the closure list. At least not for now.

Suspects arrested for arson after igniting gasoline underneath a Richland County house, deputies say
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — Two suspects arrested by Richland County Sheriff's Department for arson in Hopkins, South Carolina. (Video above: WYFF News 4 Evening Headlines) Richland County deputies responded to the 200 block of Country Haven Road in Hopkins on July 14, around 5:30 p.m. regarding an arson investigation. The homeowner said one of the suspects dumped gasoline underneath the house and ignited a fire while the victim was inside. The suspects fled the area before deputies could arrive, authorities said.

On Thursday, July 25, a K9 police unit captured the man, identified as Deangelo Williams, in the North Carolina city of Monroe. Williams, 35, was wanted in South Carolina for felony charges related to breaking into cars.
