Ruby’s to Bring New York-Style Bagels to Nexton This Fall

A couple of months ago, What Now Charleston reported plans for a new Ruby’s Bagels in Nexton . Now, that location has officially been confirmed , and more details are available.

The New York-style bagel shop will open its fifth site this fall in Summerville ’s Publix Plaza . The 1,408-square-foot space will be situated at 1288 Nexton Pkwy , Suite 4D , right across the street from the new Harris Teeter.

The forthcoming Nexton eatery will join Ruby’s Bagels’ four existing Lowcountry locations: one in North Charleston, one in West Ashley, and two in Mt Pleasant on Coleman Boulevard and in the Carolina Park development .

Founded in 2022 by Joe Harvey and Kevin Roach , along with their wives Denise and Gail , Ruby’s Bagels has quickly gained a loyal following. Expect the signature New York-style bagels at the new location, as well as a variety of spreads, bagel sandwiches, and coffee beverages.
