'Screen on the Green' Kicks Off Summer Movie Schedule on Thursday

SUMMIT, NJ -- It's showtime in Summit!

Screen on the Green kicks off its summer schedule on Thursday, July 11, featuring the Super Mario Brothers Movie. The event is free and the family dance party will begin at 7:15 p.m. The movie will be shown at dark. Don't forget to bring a blanket or chair!

• July 25 - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem
• August 1 - Wish
• August 8 - Trolls Band Together
• August 15 @ Summit Family Aquatic Center - The Little Mermaid
• Saturday, October 19 - Scream on the Green - TBA

As part of the experience, the community is invited to interact with a few of the on-screen characters before the movie. In past years, movie-goers have enjoyed performances by Medieval Times, danced with minions from Despicable Me , Trapeze and Aerial artists from The Circus Place, and even been amazed by a 17-foot dinosaur from Field Station Dinosaurs.
