On early Sunday morning, July 7, video surveillance showed a man and a woman stealing $10,000 worth of trees, flowers and landscaping materials.

“They were here shopping approximately five hours and shopping like they were at Walmart,” owner Rick Mangone told WCBS-NY news. “They had my carts, my wagons loaded to the gills with merchandise.”

Mamaroneck Police then arrived and began an investigation using technology and video surveillance, which soon led them to a suspect that was identified and police began surveilling their New Jersey home with help from the Summit Police Department, authorities said.

The accused burglars then began selling the merchandise at the house in Summit, located near Middle Ave and Broad Street, according to reports.
