ABERDEEN, S.D. (Press Release) The Mosquito Control division of the City of Aberdeen will be conducting an aerial application for Mosquitoes on Monday, July 15th between the hours of 8:00 PM and 12:00 AM. Mosquito Control will also be conducting a city-wide ground spray for mosquitoes on Tuesday, July 16th between the hours of 8:30 PM and 12:30 AM.

Sioux Falls Security Guard Shoots at Vehicle Driving at Him
An aggravated assault led to a series of gunshots being fired early Saturday morning in Sioux Falls. Dakota News Now reports the incident occurred on Saturday, (July 13) around 2:30 AM inside a business in the 2200 block of West Madison Street. The police report states that two security guards received word about a disturbance inside the building. City Commission to hear Nuisance Abetment Appeal
The Madison City Commission will meet for their regular scheduled meeting tonight. Among the agenda items will be the approval of a Joint Powers Agreement for Police Assistance between the Madison Police Department and the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. The Commission will also consider approval of resolutions for Egan Avenue drinking water improvements, and Egan Avenue clean water improvements, as well as change orders for Trojan Village Street Construction and Extension of Washington Avenue and Division Avenue.
