Schuylkill County Fair kicks off in Summit Station

SUMMIT STATION, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — There’s no season like fair season and the Schuylkill County Fair is underway in Summit Station.

The annual event started this week and features rides for all ages, plenty of food, tractor pulls, cool exhibits, and of course livestock!

The fair also offers live entertainment and on Tuesday, rising country music star Jenny Grace will take the stage.

“I get to come and see my grandchildren who live in Schuylkill county and because it’s a great little hometown kind of fair,” said Shoemakersville resident Debbie Freeman.

“I went on a fun ride and it was so much fun, it was a puppy,” Tiana Stoner from Alburn said.

The Schuylkill County Fair runs through Saturday.
