MontCo man killed in Colebrookdale Twp. motorcycle crash
COLEBROOKDALE TWP., Pa. - Authorities say a 24-year-old man was killed Friday morning in a motorcycle crash in Colebrookdale Twp. Police say Joseph Turi of Upper Perkiomen Township, Montgomery County was pronounced dead at Reading Hospital following an accident involving a motorcycle and tractor trailer on Rt. 73 (W. Philadelphia Ave.) at South Funk Road.
Man goes missing in Montco, last spotted in Philly, family says
Family members are searching for a man who they say went missing in Montgomery County and was last spotted in Philadelphia. Paul James Asman, 23, was near 321 Morris Road in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, back on July 19, 2024, when he ran into the woods near Wissahickon Creek and Germantown Academy, his family said. Family members said he then boarded a train from Ambler, Pennsylvania, to Jefferson Station in Philadelphia. He was last seen that night at 7:43 p.m. walking towards the Fashion District in Center City, according to his family.

Station Road in Quakertown closed due to spill
QUAKERTOWN, Pa. - Bucks County Communications reports Station Road is closed between Old Bethlehem Road and Fairview Drive due to a spill or leak from a truck. Crews are working to clean up the scene, but 69 News was told the process could take up to several hours before the road re-opens.

Property Tax and Rent Rebate Program application date extended
In January Governor Josh Shapiro announced the Property Tax/Rent Rebate program, or PTRR for short. With the program, hundreds of thousands of older and disabled Pennsylvanians will now be eligible for a rebate up to $1,000.
