Canopy Children’s Solutions hosts 10th annual Children’s Mental Health Summit
JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) -Canopy Children’s Solutions knows a children’s mental health crisis exists. Their staff reports that there’s been a 30 percent increase in anxiety and depression among children in the last several years. JSU receives grant to preserve historic hospital
JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - The Zachary T. Hubert Health Center at Jackson State University received a $198,564 grant from the National Park Service to preserve the building. The money will go towards a new roof and a new HVAC System. Jackson State University’s Community Engagement Director, Heather Denne, believes the money will not only preserve the building itself, but the history behind it.

Mississippi unemployment rate holds steady at record low 2.8%
(The Center Square) – Federal data shows Mississippi's unemployment rate remained at a record low 2.8% in June for the third consecutive month.
