Republican club meets, hosts speakers in Sun City

The Sun City Republican Club met April 19 for their annual barbecue at the Quail Run Pavilion in Sun City.

The evening’s speakers were Dr. Bob Branch and, via telephone from Washington DC, Debbie Lesko, both candidates for Supervisor, District 4.

Also speaking was Gina Godbehere, candidate for Maricopa County attorney.

The next Sun City Republican Club meeting is May 21 at the Sundial Center East Hall, 14801 N. 103rd Ave., where the speakers will be candidates for Maricopa County recorder Don Haitt, an IT expert, and Justin Heap, who serves in the Arizona House of Representatives. In addition, Nathan Duell, state representative for the Heritage Foundation, will address propositions to be aware of on the November ballot.

The Son City Republican Club is open to all RCSC card holders and their guests. The social time begins at 6 p.m., the meeting starts at 6:30 p.m.
